Data Network Engineer
This position is responsible for the design, implementation, testing and documentation of complex data network solutions. This position requires a thorough understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching and firewall technologies. Experience with Cisco data network products is a must.
Desired Certifications: CCNA & CCNP.
Desired Experience: 7 years IT and 4 years of Cisco support. Min. Educational requirement is Associates Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or Computer Science. There will be 20% travel in Florida.
Other comments: The successful candidate will be a self-starter who exceeds with little supervision. oPlan, design, test, implement and continued improvement of enterprise network solutions. oConfiguration of Cisco IOS configurations, testing and implementation of new network hardware devices (routers, firewalls, switches.) into the existing network infrastructure. oProactively manage the corporate network. Responsible for the maintenance and support of network hardware devices across the entire network. oProvide audit statistics and participate in the capacity planning process. oMaintain accurate diagrams and configurations for all network devices. oPrepare engineering job packages consisting of detailed parts / equipment lists, and appropriate documentation (drawings, network diagrams, configurations, etc.). oEnsure life-cycle cost effective design of systems with the ultimate goal of meeting business needs and providing a reliable and efficient service to the user. oPrepare and submit cost estimates for planned installations where required. oMaintain familiarity with current networking technologies and available facilities. oProcure, turn-up, and troubleshoot both private and public WAN circuits. oWork across the IT organization to provide end to end solutions to the customer.

1 - Installation and configuration of Cisco Products
2 - Routers and Switches
3 - Cisco Certifications CCNA, CCNP
4 - Routing Protocols - OSPF, EIGRP BGP

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
