A Plainfield hotel is currently looking to add members to our team. We are looking for someone with an outgoing personality and a big smile for Night Audit. Being the Night Audit clerk you are usually the first person people see when they walk in the door of a hotel. A smiling face and a cheery disposition helps hotel customers feel welcome, and can help to maintain a high level of service excellence. Night Audit clerks are primarily responsible for checking guests into and out the establishment, but they typically also have many other administrative and customer service-related responsibilities. Night Audit clerks are just required to have a high school diploma.

Responsibilities:
Process guest arrivals and departures, including all necessary payments
Handle & coordinate room assignments and pre-arrivals
Handle guests' concerns
Offer referral for services and handle requests for information
Assist with the check-in and check-out of groups and tours
Assist other departments as required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Post-secondary training in tourism or hotel management is an asset
Excellent communication skills
Professional attitude
Good organizational skills
Effective conflict management and decision-making
Previous experience in customer service is an asset
Ability to use a variety of computer applications
Cash handling experience is an asset
Administrative skills
Time management skills
Ability to speak a second language is an asset
Working knowledge of the facility, services and local areaEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
