Manufacturing IT supports operational excellence and productivity efforts through utilization of information and technology. This includes maximizing and exploiting existing systems at all levels, benchmarking and replicating as much as possible and using data to drive process improvements and productivity. This Manufacturing IT position, hosted at North America Logistics Operations (NALO) Plainfield, IN Distribution Center, partners with business operations and other functional areas (outside of NALO) to identify opportunities and lead activities that directly supports NALOs key objectives. The position requires a variety of skill sets including business analysis (50%) and technical expertise (50%). This position is an integral part of the local IT team supporting the logistics business and warehouse operations, utilizing local applications as well as SAP-WM/IM/O2C. In addition, this position will have a key role in understanding, implementing and support of the NALO Business Intelligence Strategy and reporting needs.
Role Expectations and
Responsibilities:
Understand the distribution business areas, processes, strategies, and supporting data, applications and infrastructure.
Project Delivery lead the delivery of software/system solutions and deliver on system enhancements utilizing change control management.
Be an expert and resource in the business use of certain IT applications, ensure the systems remain in a validated state, and are appropriately managed throughout their lifecycle.
Stay current with regulatory, legal, or quality requirements which impact our business areas, and ensure solution requirements comply
Ensure that incident, problem, configuration, and change release management are all performed in alignment and compliance with business and quality needs
Collaborate with IT peers across manufacturing and solution services (GICOE, GBIP, Infrastructure support) to identify solutions to meet business partner needs and ensure understanding and alignment of release roadmaps.
Research and evaluate alternative technical solutions and develop business cases to support the business
Resolve challenging issues via break-fix testing, trouble tickets and/or change request
Produce and maintain project and/or validation documentation, often in conjunction with a Validation or documentation specialist
Influence the business to drive value and implement the appropriate technical solutions.
Accurately translate business processes, which may span multiple areas, into technical terms and vice versa.
Find and act on replication opportunities between sites and functions.
Partnering with on-site support contractors to ensure day to day IT support activities meet business requirements of NALO Operations.
Understand the various Business Intelligence (BI) tools that are available at Lilly and the patterns of usage in order to recommend, design and support the best solution for the business requirements.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree
3 plus years of IT technical support experience 3 plus years of experience woth SQL, Oracle and SQL Server
Experience troubleshooting and escalation to the appropriate areas for resolution.

Additional Skills/Preferences
Experience with Business intelligence and associated toolsets, Business Objects or MS tools
Previous experience with SAP WM/IM/O2C
Knowledgeable in Distribution / Logistics & Warehouse Management Previous computer system support experience in an operational environment.
Strong technical skill set
Working knowledge of SQL, Oracle and SQL Server
Demonstrated learning ability to both technically as well as business processes and application
Ability to thrive in a complex, changing environment with multiple competing projects
Demonstrated ability to proactively identify issues and either resolve or escalate to the appropriate level for resolution
Strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills
Ability to thrive in a complex, changing environment with multiple competing projects
Experience working with third party providers / understanding of vendor management
Knowledgeable of CSV/CSQ Computer Systems Quality Policies
Demonstrated ability to evaluate, facilitate, and drive towards risk-based decision making

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
