Job Description and Overview
Summary:
Energy Client is in the process of migrating the business markets energy efficiency incentive processing function from an external vendor to an internal application. The implementation of the new system includes the data migration of ?work in process? to the new system. A cleanup effort will be required post - migration to validate and verify the information in the new system. This position is for technical analyst type resources to assist resources in validating and correcting the migrated incentive application information post migration to the new system.
Qualification Requirements:
At least two years of experience in a professional/technical role, Experience with data management and/or management information systems is preferred, Candidate works collaboratively with other team members performing incentive application status validation and cleanup coordination in support of energy efficiency programs ? Candidate must be comfortable with learning new technical concepts, business processes and while being able to apply them in data validation activities. ? Validate and correct program incentive applications by reviewing applications, performing accurate data entry, and assuring all required documentation is included with application such as:
Review invoices and model numbers for energy efficiency equipment installations, establish quantities, locate equipment specification sheets, and verify that the projects meet program specifications. ? Understand and use reference materials and suggest changes. ? Basic understanding of quality control procedures. ? Perform data management activities as needed, including, running reports, updating data. ? Provide flexible support to other team members as directed.
Required Skills: ? Must be able to prioritize responsibilities and work as part of a team. ? Must have a high attention to detail. ? Good communication (both verbal and written), customer service and phone skills, organization, grammar, and spelling skills are essential as ? well as the ability to work well under pressure in time-critical situations and be productive and self-motivated during slow periods. ? Good math skills. ? Basic experience in MS Excel and Access. Intermediate or advanced experience a plus. ? Basic experience in Salesforce.com, intermediate or advanced experience a plus. ? Intermediate experience in MS Outlook, Word. Advanced experience a plus. ? Candidate must be proactive with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Required Education:
Bachelor?s degree in IT, MIS or Engineering is preferred.
Associate?s degree in similar field required (IT, MIS, Engineering).
